Grandma Janie and Grandpa Russ took Makenna, Hollis and I to the Farmington County Fair. While we were there we took the kids to see all the animals. The kids loved seeing all the animals but I could hardly stand the smell in the goat building. I tried to make my way through that building as fast as I could and yet still let the kids see all the goats. After the animals we took the kids into this building that had a lot of science project activities in it. There were some pretty cool things in there for the kids to look at and do. We ended our day by letting the kids go on a couple of rides before we went home. I can't believe how much they can charge for tickets -- it is outrageous! They both liked going on the swings. Hollis really wanted to go on the dragon roller coaster and Makenna wanted nothing to do with it. Grandma Janie took Hollis on the roller coaster and after it got going he wasn't so sure he wanted to be on it either. Hollis ended off his day going on some pink elephants that he wasn't so sure he wanted to be on after his scary roller coaster ride. It was a fun day at the fair with grandma and grandpa -- thanks!
