Makenna and Hollis had a great time carving pumpkins this year. They both actually really got into it. Janie and I went to Savers in search of the perfect costumes for the kids -- we had so much fun! I couldn't believe all the pieces we found to put together for Makenna's costume -- they were perfect! Makenna was a pirate and Hollis a rodeo clown. The face paint was a little tricky with Hollis. How do you keep a 2 year old from touching his face? I think we had to redo it 2 times before we even left the house for trunk-or-treating. I redid it right before we walked out the door, but by the time we got to the church he had already smeared it. We had so much fun with their costumes this year and the kids loved them!
